Quite literally the nicest business owners in Chicago. The lentil soup, baba ghanoush pretty smoky if you like that! I do, and falafel are all great. Everything Ive had here has been good. The owner and his kids are incredibly kind. Great little store inside too for quick grab and go groceries and snacks.
I ordered from Yabas for dinner one night and had the lentil soup and falafel wrap. They were both so good that my wife and I ordered catering from Yabas a few days later for our family. The food is really flavorful, the portions are large, and the folks who run the restaurant are very kind. Well absolutely be coming back!
Id give 10 stars if I could. Yes, its in a convince store BUT its absolutely a hidden gem. No fancy gimmicks just good food. I had a combination tray. It was very tasty and moist and well cooked. And dessert was amazing. Highly recommend. I will be returning.
